A Special Evening at Longleat
A special dinner for a special occasion requires nothing less than excellence. Being asked to create a menu fit for royalty was no small feat—and one we embraced with pride.
It was our honour once again to deliver for our dearest friend, Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, curating an unforgettable dining experience at the magnificent Longleat.
From the bespoke menu to the elegant table settings, every detail was meticulously considered, reflecting the essence of Amai’kiye; flavour, fire, and finesse.
The Menu: An African Safari of Flavours
Canapés – Flavour, Fire & Finesse
Plantain × Avocado & Grilled Oyster Bellinis
Chargrilled Watermelon × Whipped Feta Mint Mousse Amuse-Bouche
Starters – Bold Flavours & Colour on the Plate
Safari Spice-Rubbed Pan-Seared Scallops x Charred Corn Purée x Crispy Okra x Citrus-Herb Oil x Micro Sorrel
Mains – Where Comfort Meets Royalty
West African Surf & Turf: Grilled Ribeye x Charred Miso Tiger Prawns, Silky seasonal Butternut Squash Purée x Green Peppercorn & Palm Wine Sauce x Seasonal Greens
Dessert – A Sweet, Rich Story
Indulgent Naija Guinness Chocolate Cake x Chantilly Porte Noire Cognac Cream x Black Cherry Kirsch
It’s safe to say: a time was truly had by all.
Beyond the Table
Creating extraordinary events requires not only dedication but also an exceptional team, something we take great pride in here at Amai’kiye.
Music & Atmosphere: The gentlemen of Hale Zero curated the after-party soundtrack, ensuring everyone from distinguished guests to staffers were on their feet.
Fine Wines & Spirits: Curated by Richard Daly, a refined wine pairing accompanied the safari-inspired meal, rounded off with an exemplary tasting mezcal as celebrations carried into the early hours.
Warm Welcomes: Nothing beats the joy of familiar faces and the anticipation of guests eager to experience the menu firsthand.
